More than 400 children received investigative services at Jessie’s Place in 2016. According to this study, that is a savings of $400,000 for Citrus County Communities.

Child abuse incidences — both physical and sexual — are on the rise, not only in Citrus County, but across the United States. Since children are our most valuable resource, it is our job to help these innocent victims heal so they can become productive, healthy adults.

A PARENT’S GUIDE TO THE CHILDREN’S ADVOCACY CENTER
The Citrus County Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) is a safe, child friendly environment that eliminates the need for multiple interviews during investigations of suspected abuse. By utilizing the CAC, investigators can coordinate their efforts and begin the investigative process with a minimal amount of stress to your child.
